Workshop Overview
The Advanced Workshop on Planning,
Research, and Statistics for Public Sector Transformation is designed
to strengthen the capacity of policymakers, planners, and statisticians to
effectively use evidence, data, and foresight in shaping national development
strategies. In today’s governance environment, data and research are critical
assets for decision-making, performance monitoring, and long-term policy
planning.
This workshop will provide participants with
practical tools and frameworks to link research and statistics to strategic
planning, enabling them to design more effective policies, measure
institutional performance, and ensure accountability. Through a blend of
expert-led sessions, case studies, and hands-on exercises, participants will
gain actionable skills to align planning processes with national development
goals and international best practices.
